Here are the directions (as clear as I can make them) if you’d like to participate in BlogMe 2006.
First, I’ll tell you about the inteviews. I came up with some questions that our little group edited and added to and we answered them all. We’re posting either some or all (it’s up to you) of the answers on different sites tomorrow.
I’m interviewing Belinda, Belinda’s interviewing Lisa, Lisa’s interviewing Karen, Karen’s interviewing Erin, Erin’s interviewing Fizzle, Fizzle’s interviewing Elizabeth, Elizabeth’s interviewing Sarah and Sarah’s interviewing me!
We just made a complete circle with the names. Need more explicit? Here, try this:
A interviews B
B interviews C
C interviews D
D interviews E
E interviews A
Everyone participating puts the BlogMe code on their sidebar, and it should link to the BlogHer website. You list the URL of the person you are interviewing, and the person interviewing you. And so on and so forth until we’re all completely bonkers.
Our theme (feel free to change it) is entitled “A Piece of Me” and we’re adding a picture of one piece of the person we’re interviewing. I realize some people like anonymity and this keeps that intact while offering a small glimpse of the person we’ve interviewed. Besides, pictures are always fun.
If you want to tag people, go ahead. If you want to put up your own interview and link back to me, go ahead. If you want to remove your liver with pinking shears at this point due to reading my perplexing directions, I totally understand.
The point is to interview someone you read and enjoy and introduce them to your other readers. We’re networking, people. Networking.
I wonder if this is any clearer now, but I’m not used to posting on the weekend. Any questions? I’ll try to answer them in the comments.

I actually do have pinking shears, and believe me, I’m tempted.
I think Elizabeth has me looped into an interview loop, but I plan to just figure it out as I go. If I survive the pinking shears, that is.

Gee Mocha, that makes perfect sense to ME LOL
I plan to tag Julie, Nancy, Dawn, Tammie and Roo. Assuming they all agree, it will work just like the above example. I’ll let them figure out who they want to tag from there.

Mah head hurts. How about, as Arlo Guthrie so eloquently sang somewhere around when you were born… “using photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph after each one?”
I know, one what…
best wishes in the circle game!

I thought I understood, but then I didn’t see who was interviewing me on the list and got all confused again.

mothergoosemouse - If, by this time tomorrow, I have no comments to return to people, just know that me and the pinking shears had a moment.
Elizabeth - Of course YOU get it. You have to get it. If not, it’ll be anarchy.
Nelle - Guthrie? Who’s that? KIDDING. The circle game will have our heads spinning. In keeping with the theme…
Dave - I’m soooo tagging you. You’re such a whore for these things. I love that about you.

Seems clear to me, mamita. As does the fact that you can count one Fizzle on your hotel room floor….

I see you comment on Fizzle’s blog..I found you via here. I am a fellow Ethiopia adopter but I am NOT going to BlogHer (but I live in the area so I am up for meeting folks…….)
I will still participate, it could be fun

I interviwed myself. Do I still get to sit with the cool kids in the cafeteria??? And WHO STOLE MY FRENCH VANILLA CREAMER?!?!?
These are the questions that will plague me through the night and into the morning as I attempt to sleep between now and when I’m supposed to hit the gym in about 7 hours. Thank God for Shakira and my iPod. Solace. At least I can pretend I can move like that. But my hips lie. All the time. Today, for example, they told me that it was okay to eat a slice of that birthday cake… “really, we won’t spread any further, we promise…”
Lying bitches, the pair of them.
But blogher-meme-thing I did do. I even tagged it. WHERE IS MY GOLD STAR??? Or at least a little taste of the Mocha goodness.
Dear Lord, it’s time to go to bed. Before I stop making sense.
Oh. Nevermind. Too Late.

I wanted to participate, but no one asked me to. Does anyone want to swap interviews? (Side note: wow, asking for an interview sure made me sound pathetic, no?) I’m not going to BlogHer this year, maybe next. I’d love to, but it’s too expensive for us to afford right now.
