I’ll tell you what works in a pinch: Bada Beans. It’s a new(ish) product used to flavor coffee that comes in tablet form. Like breath mints. Only for coffee. Since I like syrup flavorings but rarely remember to add it when I’m in a rush, Bada Beans seems perfect. You know all those days I complain about icky, plain school coffee? These make it better. I liked Hazel’s Nutty Hazelnut for a nice flavor infusion. I have two more to try and see how I like them, but for now I’m just keeping the tin in my purse so I have it with me at all times.

This sounds delicious. That’s how I could cope with the plain coffee at school! I love solutions to problems. Not that plain coffee is a problem!

[...] It’s time to review another Bada Bean and by that I mean that it’s time for me to drink more coffee AND WHEN ISN’T IT TIME FOR ME TO DRINK COFFEE? I was true to my word when I said I’d keep the tin in my purse so I took McCoy’s Dream Vanilla Bean with me when I went to St. Louis for New Year’s Eve. My sister-in-law was in awe (rhyming, eh? Ok, I see where we’re going) that companies had given me products to review so I didn’t even tell her about the power bars I’m getting from San Francisco. But I did leave her the rest of the Hazelnut beans. After reviewing them both I have to say I like the Hazelnut the best (damn! damn! why did I give them to her?) but if you have some boring coffee and need a zing, go with the Vanilla.
