A loverly lady sent me some Millstone samples about which I have yet to write, but seeing as today is a holiday in Illinois, I have time to make coffee at home! And write about it! While I plan on having a decaf friend write about the decaf coffee they gave me, I decided to try the Vermont Maple and wasn’t, truthfully, expecting good results. It’s ground already and the bag smelled quite strong so I was thinking it would be an overpowering taste. Surprise! It wasn’t. So long as you don’t add anything to it to distract the flavor, it’s fine.

Yeah, it’s a holiday for you. Not me, just you.
That sounds really nice! I hope it tasted nice too
Mmm. Enjoy your cuppa, savor it — you’ve earned it. I’ll miss your Mocha Momma blog; maybe we’ll meet in real life some day at a teachers’ conference.
Maple? Interesting.
Once I got rid of our coffee machine (what was the point? We still went to the coffee stand every day) I stopped buying the gourmet coffee. Now I’m trying to *gasp* kick the habit. Apparently it’s supposed to be better for folks with fibro. Psh whatev.
Anyhoo, enjoy your java!
