Yesterday, my internet went out.
Then, in my frenzy to post daily for this month, I went to my local Panera. Where their internet was out.
Then, I went into a carbohydrate coma and awoke just now, slightly pissed off that I could have finished and won a prize. I’m a middle child and I WANT A PRIZE.
But the bellinis and martinis are helping. A lot.

I feel for you. My iBook DIED yesterday. Fortunately, it was AS I WAS POSTING and blogger posted for me…yay.
If I win a prize and it is shareable, I will share it with you. Because I am the youngest child, and I know you get hung above the toilet by your ankles if you don’t share.
You could have back dated a post…no one would have been the wiser!!!

i don’t know what the heck suebob is talking about. i’m a youngest child, too, but all that means is that i’m spoiled and selfish, and i hate to share.

Well, I’m an oldest, and we are often driven to succeed, prize or no prize. So I’ll add to this conversation the idea that Mocha made a serious effort and went to Panera for Internet service; it wasn’t her fault she couldn’t post. Oh, and Mocha? You’ve been tagged. i know how you feel! last year i just totally forgot a day and i was upset! this year some of my posts are flat out lame, but so far so good!

Honest… I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn’t come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN’T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD.

I missed two days. Once because I was recovering from a trip to the hospital…and once because I was so tired from Thanksgiving I couldn’t remove myself from the couch. I don’t win a prize either….but I’m thinking martini’s sound good!
I could go on and on about my internet problems of the last few months. Hell, even the last whole year. They’ve got faster speeds here in Europe, but their customer service is something else. I’ve tossed in the hat too many times to be counted and now I’m just thankful to get on when I can.
But I miss hearing something new everyday! I want my mocha mama.
