She’s in her last semester of college. Let me repeat, COLLEGE. Repetition is only for my own awareness because hell to the no. I don’t have a child ready to graduate from college. She’s doing her senior project for design on a winery and this is the picture she’s using for her postcard invites.
DNA. Dude. You rock.

She is absolutely beautiful. This is a fabulous picture of her and I’ll be damned if she doesn’t rock the look department like her momma. Beautiful.
Um. Jaysus. You’re not kidding.
You rock that DNA.
Mal is gorgeous as always. I’ve not seen a photo of her in such a long time. This young woman, indeed, has amazing DNA. I pink puffy heart this picture of her!
Well done, Mom. One down, two to go. You can feel good about a lot of things but nothing beats the feeling of knowing that you raised up a kid who’s ready to take on the world. For me (and I realize that not everyone feels this way) my kids are my best legacy. It beats personal recognition, winning a Nobel prize, anything. Because this is the future.
Speaking of future, it looks brighter, knowing that Mallory is going to help shape it.
Your daughter is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations!
DAMN! she is so beautiful!
You have every reason to be a proud mama. Way to go Mallory!
Obviously she is gorgeous; look who her mother is. Duh.
That photo just screams, “yeah, I’m Mocha Momma’s daughter. Whacha gonna do about it?”
She is beautiful.
Bravo!
I can only hope that my daughters grow up to have the confidence that is oozing from the young woman in that photo. You have obviously done a wonderful job! She looks ready to tackle the world.
Best of luck to her on her senior project, if it’s half as good as she is beautiful she’ll ace it!
She is stunning! Ya done good.
She’s beautiful! With great hair!
The ‘do rocks. And what a sassy, beautiful smile. But back to the hair – seriously, who is her stylist?
She is beautiful. Good work on the genes.
Woo Hoo—she is gorgeous! And, yeah to one almost finishing college!
Who knew a simple pic of my kid would bring about this many comments. And all so very nice! Thank you.
Her stylist is my stylist but I’m not brave in getting a real HAIR DO. I stick with what I know and am “safe” with my hair. But I’ll pass along the compliment!
She is gorgeous! You must be so proud, and rightfully so. I love her slight grin; she looks like she’s up to something.
If I say something like, “Mallory looks hot, just like her mother!” I would only mean it in the most unperv way possible. But then again I did invite you to dinner at a nudist colony once so I guess it wouldn’t be that unperv.
Not only is she gor-jess! She looks just like you!
She is gorgeous. I see somewhat of a mischievous look in her eyes which makes her that much more beautiful.
You should be one proud momma and even prouder of the fact that you look young enough to be her sister
That picture left me breathless. What a beautiful and self assured young lady. Good Luck to her on her Sr Project!!!
she’s beautiful!!! i love that little quirky smile, like she just told a good joke, so little mocha of her!
Not only is she beautiful, she looks confident and ready to kick some ass! Go Mocha Momma. You did good! You rock!
Radiant, spirited, unique – her personality just shines thru like a beacon.
Congratulations to BOTH of you!
Congrats on such a cool and beautiful daughter. But I bet you can still kick her butt in Scrabble!
Beautiful shot of Mallory. Her hair looks awesome–thicker, even! It totally shows her personality.
That is the BEST haircut. I had one like it when I was in Lib. School and got the most compliments on it…but I’m too old and crusty to give it a go now. ;-P
Tell Mal that we’re all so proud of her, not only because she is so beautiful but because, having watched her grow up, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
Oh…and since I’m FINALLY getting off my ass and commenting, as I’ve long promised I would, I need to thank Mal’s mom (yes, that would be YOU MM) for your advice, oh so long ago now, about baby oil being the best thing for shaved legs. Where was this info when I was a young woman (Huh, mom? Huh?!) – for the first time in my life I (and my super sensitive skin) no longer have to deal with razor burn. I actually have presentable legs now. That may sound like a minor thing, but you try going on a blind date with razor burn to worry about (go ahead, TRY it). So anywho…thanks lady. *grin*
Oh, and it’s good to have you back to blogging. Later gator.
She is darlin’ and I love her haircut. Love the expression on her face and the obvious confidence that she exudes. Looks like a good job done Mom.
delurking — she’s just beautiful!
She looks great, and her hair rocks!
Do you have a shotgun to fight all those men off yet?
She’s is gorgeous!!! A design for a winery? That sounds like a lot of fun. What exactly is her degree in? Business?
Beautiful girl from a beautiful momma!
Great job to the both of you!
Well her mother is gorgeous. Why are we surprised? She does look like she has all your spirit too my girl. Lucky lady to have such a mom.
Can I just say it’s also a great portrait? I mean, sure, there’s a beautiful woman in the picture, but it’s just damn well done. (And kudos for you for making such a pretty girl.)
yeah, she’s gorgeous alright.
and just look at that confidence oozing.
bravo indeed, my first baby has just left home to go to university (college) 3 hours away.
he’s having a blast, but *sob* i miss him billions.
love X
Wow, she is just gorgeous! Just stumbled here via Neil’s Interview experiment and Sleepnita’s fantastic interview of you. Your blog is amazing.
Haven’t been around in a while and am reading frantically to get my mocha fix. I aboslutely love that picture of Mallory. She’s got some rockin’ DNA. Good Job mom!!
Congratulations!!
