This will be brief since my internet is spotty, my unnamed Apple laptop’s mouse pooped out, and the internet gods are farting on my head. Does anyone sense a pattern here? First the body, then the technology. Such is my life.
Since my computer is taking this FORCED SABBATICAL, I can only offer my recent wonderings before signing off:
1. I watched North By Northwest today. Eva Marie Saint? What a vixen!
2. I have watched every episode of 30 Rock Season 1, Gilmore Girls Season 4, and The Office Season 2. I’m sick to death of Liz Lemon, Lorelei, and Dwight and that’s only because I’m dreaming about them all in one Mocha episode and Lorelei and Liz make fun of me for not having a name that begins with “L”. Also, we’re all fighting over Dwight Schrute. DWIGHT.
3. Yesterday I slept for 2 hours straight on the couch. I sat up, switched positions, and slept on the other side of the couch for 2 hours. That’s four straight hours of fighting over Dwight Schrute and lots of sweating.
4. No food tastes good and nothing is staying in my stomach. Oddly, I’m no thinner. I blame Dwight.
5. Tonight I watched hour long episodes of My Name Is Earl and The Office. Tonight’s dream will include my own Amish Rumspringa, some bonnet deflowering, and Dwight. I’m sure he’ll make an appearance.

That Dwight, he’s a shifty fella. He has that way about him that makes him unforgettable. Most times it’s not a good way. I’m just saying.

I am sorry you are sick–I don’t watch the office but I totally understand the pain that would be both Liz and Lorelei making fun of you–they are sharp tongued women.
I hope you feel better soon…It also good that you are rotating on the couch as we don’t want you to get bed sores.

Girl! How long have you been sick! This flu must be pretty bad. I too watched Earl and the Office last night. I was flipping back and forth…then I watched LOST. They’re making us wait two weeks for the two-hour season finale. Those bums.
Have somebody bring you some 7-up, pop-sicles and Saltine crackers. Those get me through the flu everytime. Those, and plenty of rest. Rest on my mocha friend. You probably already know this, but stay away from caffeine.

i was recording the office when the power flickered and the satellite went out for 2 minutes with 8 minutes to go!! i haven’t watched it yet, but hope it was on a commercial break. feel better soon, mrs. schrute.

I’ve never watched a TV show on a DVD. I read about people sitting home all weekend and watching three years of a series at once. Doesn’t it get monotonous after watching more than three episodes of a show in one sitting? Maybe you’ll get faster better if you watch more junk on TV like you’re supposed to do when you’re sick — like the Price is Right or all the Judge shows.

Oh hon - I can soooo relate!! I slept for hours on end with the wierdest dreams too!! Just stay hydrated… keep rotating… and maybe Dwight can grow you something appealing for a change!
