My new year’s resolution is not to say someone is awesome if I don’t know the person. You’re pretty awesome, so I assume your mother is cool. My big question is – how did you mother get the idea to go to Burning Man? Like the other commenters, my mother would probably think it some new TV show on Lifetime. Frankly, I’m not exactly sure what goes on there. Clearly, from her white hair, I can assume your mother is over 55. How did this transformation come about? Was she always a hip gal? I already feel like a fuddy duddy. How can I be more like her when I am 55? How can I be more like her NOW?

I think it’s awesome that your Mom goes to Burning Man. My mom wouldn’t even know what it was. I’m completely jealous of you and your relationship with your mom. She sounds like she is just as beautiful inside as she is outside.
