This Canadian is very much looking forward to tomorrow. So much so I have found a way to hook up a TV in my room so my class can watch! I even have my curriculum connections figured out. :)

Funny you should mention that. I’m sitting here wondering WHICH classroom I’ll be visiting that is sure to have it on the tv.

  3. Shash says:

I think it’s a FANTASTIC day to eat lunch in the classrooom. :-)

  4. I haven’t a clue where I’ll be watching it since I’m not sure we’ll have access to any TVs at work (and I know from experience that, during events like this, the internet feeds slow to a crawl).

This is why I’ve got my fingers crossed for snow. So that I can watch the inauguration and not for any other reason. Really. You believe me right?

It does have a nice ring to it … so refreshing.

It isn’t really even real to me. I’m in my office, watching CNN’s coverage streaming online, fighting back tears and hoping my AM appointments cancel.

Amen! I think the end of the Benediction was my favorite part of the swearing-in ceremony this morning.

    Hello!!!

When I was at work, I watched the inauguration on MSNBC streamline. I have CNN on since I got home. And all the Brazilians cable channels are airing the inaguration, the parede live!!!

I hope you could enjoy this memorable day!!!

So fantastic…there are no words that can adequately describe just how wonderful this day has been !!!

  13. Suebob says:

Glory hallelujah. And the best part is that I am not as much excited about him as I am excited about US.

I am fortunate enough to have a television in my classroom. My classes were GLUED to it from 10 am on. They were applauding and cheering when he finished taking the oath. A fine day, indeed…

The coolest part was when President Barack and Michelle took their first dance together.
