Even though I know half the crap e-mail I get is a hoax…
Even though sometimes people never take you off their e-mail address lists…
Even though I used to go to church with some of the people who still have me in their “sight” and want to pass things along…
Even though you think that because I am a Christian and love the little baby Jesus…
Even though I am a “nice” person and you think that I’ll agree with you…
Even though we used to be related but I know that I will never attend a family reunion with your people again…
Even though we went out for drinks THAT ONE TIME…
…stop sending me crap to get more Republicans elected and using ‘faith’ as an excuse and telling me that “we have to take back our country!” I happen to be using my own brain and like to think for myself. But I do have some questions for you:
From whom are you “taking it back“? Am I to assume that the Native Americans are getting some sort of refund?

if i had a nickel for every stupid email like that – i’d be rich
and if i had all the time back that i’ve spent responding to insane rumors i get by email with “hey – could you check at snopes before you forward this crap” – then i probably wouldn’t be so tired all the time

Amen, I have been questioning the sanity of some family members for more than a year now, and I still haven’t politely learned how to ask them to stop spamming me with lunatic ravings. If the internets was never invented I am fairly certain I would know about 50 people who would be holding signs on the side of the road judging by the stuff they send me.

I have given up trying to change the Baptist mind of my husbands 85 year old half sister whom he has never met that lives in Texas. The crap she sends me is enough to make your head spin.
As long as we are taking back countries I will take back my share of Canada that was stolen from my native ancestors in the 1800’s. Fighting to the death for some of them. Extreme poverty for the others.

as a native american, i find this hillarious. I’ve never got a refund and never got nothing from the gov’t… not even a ‘recognised’ native… just a non-status… but, i prefer it that way. Someday, it’ll come back to us to take care of because this western way? Obviously, it ain’t working.
