Dangit, if Elle Varner isn’t ADORABLE. It’s not just the hair, either, but MY GOD SHE HAS INCREDIBLE HAIR. Also, this video is a throwback to a time that mirrors my high school years (minus the incredible hair, I was still trying to make it feather like all the white girls, oy, the mistakes I made). I could do without the J. Cole interlude in the middle, but I forgive her because she’s young and will make her own way (please, make this happen Music Gods) and just sing. That’s what she needs to do.
Also? Pretty sure I had those glasses in college. But I didn’t wear them ironically like Elle Varner does.

in constant rotation for me…throwback indeed! I could have done without J. Cole also, but that is what makes my daughters listen to this song, they love her! I had those glasses too :O)
Trust, as soon as I heard this for the first time on the box, I started rockin’ with some old school moves. The beat is nice. I like the song too. I must check out the entire CD. The way we wore those glasses back in the day was w/o the lenses.
