You know a song is infecting your brain when you wake up singing it every day for a week. It doesn’t take much for Common to infect me because I crush HARD on this man. He still doesn’t know he’s my boyfriend. By the way, are you watching him on AMC’s “Hell on Wheels”? I am. The Cuban doesn’t even mind that I continue to start sentences with “My boyfriend Common…” but he balks when I shush him during any of Common’s speaking parts.
Have I ever mentioned that one time my sisters and I were talking about Common and one of them mentioned that the other one had been hit on by Common? And that my sister, my stupid stupid sister, turned him down?
No? Because that is a great shame in my family. WHO TURNS HIM DOWN?

Didn’t he go to St. Thomas? I want to say that he did. I met him once at a bar (when I was young and could stay awake past 9PM) and he remembered me from either St. Thomas of Hyde Park, on of the two – I forget which.

Common is “Like That & Then Some”. I purchased his best of Common CD and I play it a lot when I am in my art studio. It truly gets my creative juices flowin’. He is such a poetic beast, lyrically unstoppable!!!!!
