Cuppa the Day

Pyramid Berry Tea

July 23, 2007

It’s rather warm here around these parts so it’s either iced coffee or tea because I can cool off the tea quicky with some ice. Today, it’s hot. (The tea. The temperature hasn’t gone up too much yet.) Lipton’s Bavarian Wild Berry tea is very good, but don’t steep it too long because it’s made [...]

Back On The Peet’s Wagon

July 19, 2007

It was time I ordered some Peet’s again and I’m enjoying the Arabian Mocha Java like it’s nobody’s business. But let me tell you: make it your business! It’s delish and smooth. Get some and tell me if you can taste the “bittersweet chocolate overtones” or else just tell me that it’s delish.

New Job Coffee

July 18, 2007

I’m having coffee with a girlfriend this morning to celebrate my new job. It’s robust, strong, and complex. That’s about all I can say about the new job thus far. The coffee, however, is a dark blend with a smooth aftertaste. Fitting, no? I’ll say more later about the job. The coffee, too.

Timmies

July 9, 2007

I’m enjoying a robust cuppa Tim Horton’s coffee this morning. Those Canadians are blessed to have Timmies and it beats out grocery-store Folgers any day. It’s already finely ground, this blend I’m having, but I have tried their whole bean which I grind myself and it’s even better. Someone coming to BlogHer from Canada want [...]

Yum. Dessert in a cup. With [...]

Have beans, will grind. Have Kona, will drink until every last drop is gone and cup looks clean again. Have coffee, have good life. I need to write fortunes for a living, don’t I? There are yummy smelling beans that will make me a great cuppa this morning and I’m not one for adding anything [...]

May 22, 2007

What are you thinking, Mickey D’s? Huh? You can’t just POUR syrup and full fat milk in a glass over some squashed up coffee beans and call it COFFEE. We’ve had this McAss Coffee Conversation before. Back off. Let the experts do it. Thankseversomuch.

Trying Something New

March 28, 2007

I wanted my old stand-by of a latte or my new favorite Cafe Americano, but went with the Double Tall Toffee Nut Latte and wasn’t disappointed. I only wish there was more of it, but it looks like it’s only once size. Fine. Tomorrow, I order two of them.

Millstone For M’Lady

March 5, 2007

A loverly lady sent me some Millstone samples about which I have yet to write, but seeing as today is a holiday in Illinois, I have time to make coffee at home! And write about it! While I plan on having a decaf friend write about the decaf coffee they gave me, I decided to [...]
