Confession: Day Seven

This is a compensated review from BlogHer and Crystal Light Waterway Challenge.

So, how goes the feeling of drinking more water? I’d be happy to answer that. As is Crystal Light were a real person.

Kelly: Hmm. I’m hungry.

Crystal: No, you’re not. You’re just like most Americans who think they’re hungry and are really just thirsty.

Kelly: Oh, yeah? You think you’re so smart. Just because you come in a slender package and multiple flavors.

Crystal: That’s not true. I’m lacking in shape unless you consider cylindrical a shape.

Kelly: In fact, I do consider it a shape! But that’s not the point.

Crystal: True indeed. The point is that you’re not hungry. You just think you are.

Kelly: Basically, you’re telling me that I don’t understand my own cravings.

Crystal: Exactly. It’s a common occurrence among humans. You need to learn to listen to your body.

Kelly: Well, my body is telling me that I need SOMEthing. Popcorn. Burritos. Pineapple upside down cake.

Crystal: Tell you what. How about you go into the kitchen, get a glass, fill it with ice water, and enjoy that first?

Kelly: This sounds like a dare. I love a good dare. It’s responsible for many things. Except my tattoo. I got that on my own. However, this bruise right here? It’s from that time when I-

Crystal (interrupting): Thirst is making you a little crazy right now.

Kelly: I know! So let me just try your little experiment. But if I’m hungry after this whole glass of water then can I please cut myself a piece of cake?

Crystal: Deal. But (here, she gets somewhat smug with me) I have a feeling you won’t want it.

Kelly: You know what, Crystal? I really am beginning to like you even though you shove all this you’re-not-hungry-you’re-thirsty crap with me.

Crystal: And? How do you feel? Are you hungry now?

Kelly: Not entirely. But! I could use something with flavor!

Crystal: Well, you know what to do. If you want to add some Crystal Light flavoring to your water glass then go for it. But stay away from that cake for now.

Kelly: Fine. I hate it when you’re right.

If you visit the Water Way Challenge group I promise there are no talking products over there. Just delicious looking drinks and other women doing the challenge along with me.
