Confession: Day Six

This is a compensated review from BlogHer and Crystal Light Waterway Challenge.

These little “confessions” of mine began because, after being asked about doing the Water Way Challenge, I had to admit to myself and anyone reading this that I really hate the taste of water. But today’s confession has more to do with how the effects are making me feel better. First of all, I learned that women who drink Crystal Light drink 20% more water than women who don’t. At this time, I am working out 3-4 days each week with a bike ride, a run, or some yoga. Most of the time I am so thirsty after the workout that I actually don’t go for the Crystal Light first. I will grab a bottle water that I keep and re-use (not the kind selling bottled water, something from the store I bought with a wide mouth to fit the lemon slices I put in there) and it takes about an hour before I feel like having more tasty water in my mouth.

Someday? After I’ve won an award for my writing? I will look back upon “more tasty water in my mouth” and be unbelievably proud.

One more confession: I am entirely challenged when it comes to opening those packets. But I don’t want the folks at Crystal Light to feel like it’s just them. I can’t do ketchup or soy sauce packets, either. Seriously. I’m troubled by this. If there were a Challenge Group for that I’d be all over it.

By visiting the Water Way Challenge group you can see how other women are meeting the challenge and some really great information. For instance, I learned that some of the moms don’t let their kids drink too much of it because of the dye in it (which magically, make me sprout sparkly curls from my hair! no, really!) It’s got a lot of helpful information. Especially for someone as water-challenged as I am.
