I’m probably not the best person to start changing what I drink because I really like what I drink. Obviously, I drink coffee. Obvious because I’m Senorita Crankypants in the morning and need it to get going. But after that, I tend to stay away from pop and lean towards 100% juice. The problem lies in the fact that I know I need water. It’s a kind of “DUH” thing. Water. Yes. I need it. But the thing is this: I’m one of those people who really hates water. There’s no taste. It’s an abstract of taste. The air in my mouth tastes better than water.
To help with this I try to keep lemons and limes in the house to add to my water but that gets boring after a while. The ladies over at BlogHer have always look toward what’s best for women. In matters of health in the recent weeks, they’ve been talking about increasing our water intake. I’m up for that challenge. But how can I increase it and make it tasty (better than the air-in-my-mouth-tasty)? Crystal Light has a few solutions. A few weeks ago I started drinking Crystal Light and replacing my daily forgetting-to-drink-water schtick I was doing. Thus began a 10 Day Challenge for me.
First up: Crystal Light Lemonade. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I’m down with that. So far? Waayyyyy better than the air in my mouth.
